In the summer of 1971 Ishikawa Yasuhiro embarked on his own
for Europe with the intention of becoming an opera singer.
He was 29 when he enrolled at “UniversitätfürMusik und darstellendeKunst Wien” (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).
After 2 1/2 years, he made his début in Vienna as the first Asian tenor to star in both an opera and an operetta.
Within 3 years, he was already engaged as a soloist for recitals and sacred music.
Ishikawa Yasuhiro has continued his career as a vocalist in Europe for the past 45 years.

ヨーロッパで生涯オペラ歌手として生きるために29歳で渡欧、

東洋人初の主役テノール、リート歌手、教会専属歌手として
デビューを果たした。
以来、45年間ヨーロッパで歌い続けている。
